Amazon.co.uk でのお買い物の顛末

2013/10/05 に、Blu-ray と DVD のセットになったものを購入しました。
おそらく日本盤が出ないこと、万一出たとしても簡易セットになるだろうとのことから UK盤の限定版です。

10/22 に発送され、10/30 に到着予定だよ、と。

しかし届かない

予定日が過ぎても届かず、船便になったのかな−と鷹揚に構えていたんだけど、さすがに待ちきれず、11/23 に Amazon.co.uk の Contact us から連絡。
そりゃあもう拙い英語ですが、まだ届かないので確認して欲しい旨を伝えました。その回答は、すぐ来ました。

Normally, in this situation, I'd create a replacement for the lost order right away, to be sent as soon as possible at no additional cost.
Unfortunately, at the moment, "Stone Roses: Made Of Stone Steelbook Blu-ray + DVD" is unavailable from our suppliers and we can't send a replacement. Although the item might be available on our website from third party sellers, we can't source items from them. However, we'll be happy to issue a full refund for the order.

見失ったのかな。返金するとのこと。超残念ですが、海外通販だと仕方がないことでもあります。返金されるだけ良かったと思います。
Amazon.uk のマーケットプレイスだと£149.50。うーん、10倍かぁ。しかも海外発送はしてくれないだろうなぁ。
国内の Amazon.co.jp では、入荷時期未定ながら一応 5,000円くらい。国内のマーケットプレイスでも同じくらい。16ポンドからだと、およそ倍くらいかな。

なんとなくマーケットプレイスは悔しいので、国内の Amazon.co.jp 正規でダメ元で発注。だめなら諦めると割り切った。
翌朝には、Amazon.co.uk から払い戻し手続きが終わったとのメールが来ていました。

We are writing to confirm that we are processing your refund in the amount of £16.62 for your Order XXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX.
This amount has been credited to your payment method and will appear when your bank has processed it.

しかし届いた。

この翌日、11/24、帰宅すると不在票が入っていて、再配達を手配したと妻から言われる。
不在票を見ると、普段カタカナで「アマゾン」と書かれていることが多いんだが今回は「AMAZON」と書いてある…まさか…。
再配達された荷物は、この商品でした…。あうち。
とりいそぎ、Amazon.co.jp での注文をキャンセル。マーケットプレイスで買っていなくてよかった…。

そして再度英語に悩む

改めて Contact us から、荷物が届いたこと、支払いする意思があること、その方法を知りたいことを連絡。そのお返事もすぐ来ました。

As your refund has already been processed, we'd like to have your permission to charge the credit card used to place this order in the amount of GBP 13.04, We'll not charge your for the delivery charges as the order was late so only the item cost will be recharged. 遅れてごめんね、届いたことを教えてくれてありがとう、ってことと、送料分はお詫びにサービスするから本体分だけ払ってね、とのこと。£13.04 で済むことになります。
分かりましたとの連絡を返すと、再度連絡があった。

いまここ。あぁ、3週間待ったんだから、あと数日待ってたらこんなに英語に悩まずに済んだのに。そのかわり、3.58ポンド(600円弱)節約できたけど(笑。
これで、このまま放置していたらちゃんとクレジットカードからチャージされるのかな。
